Any quote on a frame or part is only honored for four weeks from day of quote and may be subject to change. Pricing quotes are only locked if deposit is received on day of original quote or within a two-week grace period. Frames that have had chrome or chrome work can create issues for work being done. As for quotes on insurance related repairs there is a $250.00 fee required.
Sales and Shipping information
All sales are final I do not take returns on any of the frame building supplies I sell. I do not and can not guaranty shipments will arrive and do not offer refunds on lost packages. If a shipment comes back to me I will reship once new shipping payment is received. Reshipment cost of a package is the responsibility of the customer. I do not assume responsibility for lost packages or those shipped or delivered to wrong addresses. Nor do I provide refunds of shipping cost or product for lost packages to customers.
Shipping frames
I crate all my frames to prevent damage occurring. Unlike others in the industry I like my predecessor refuse to ship a frame in a cardboard box. So the cost if my shipping is higher due to the nature of my crating system. How I crate frames makes the box crush proof short of extreme instances which I have yet to see happen to one of my shipments.
Warranty
All of my Wyganowski branded frames carry an unconditional lifetime warranty for the original owner of the frame unless otherwise stated at time of purchase. Unbranded frames carry a 1 year warranty against manufacturing failures only. I only cover the repainting of the frame if the failure occurs within the first year of ownership. Abuse of the unconditional warranty can be voided if abusive use of frame is causing repeated failures. A branded frame is a frame that carries my logo or an approved by me logo of Wyganowski appearing on the frame on both sides of the down, seat or top tubes of lettering no less than 7/8″ /22 mm in height. Removal of the branding automatically voids my warranty as well as modifications to the frame done by the customer or someone else other than me. Please note my warranty is only for frames I build with 1 1/4″ head tube frames with 1″ steer tubes. I you opt for a 1 1/8″ compatible frame or for me to build you a frame with a 1 1/8″ fork. The warranty drops to 1 year. I will not stand behind a frame set that I know will have an increased failure rate due to customer demands.
It is your responsibility to understand fitment of parts and compatibility of components and accessories that are being put on your frame and fork. I am not responsible for the lack of compatibility of parts or accessories when you request specific specifications for braze-ons and components. I build to the customer’s request and cannot be held responsible for non-compatible set ups of parts and accessories, unless I am specifically contracted to ensure compatibility. This requires me to have all parts on hand at time of the build and is the customer’s responsibility to get the parts to me for proper fitment.
Terms of Services
The quality of work I do is done to my standards not the customers, I do not do perfection just to my standard. If this is an issue you should seek someone else for your needs. If I send it out them it meets my standard and is not a consideration for being an issue of function or durability of the frame.
Your parts on frames are your responsibility not mine, frames that come to me with parts installed that I have to remove to preform the work or are left on the frame for work I am doing are not my responsibility if lost or damaged. I try to keep these parts in a labeled but I can not ensure something may happen to them.
I do not inspect contracted work to see if the work done properly or in a quality manner. Prices quoted are my cost and I only charge for shipping and delivery fees for my time. This is a courtesy service I provide to keep your costs down. If you expect me to cover these or expect me to do so I will mark up the contracted work to a 50% margin. This then eliminates shipping and or delivery fees I would normally charge. All Contracted work must be paid in full before I drop off at contractor. This information is included on my painting page and I am adding it here to for those who do not fully read the information on my site.
I do not use electronic payment options to keep my pricing low. I only take checks or money orders and cash. For check payments the item is not released for one week after I deposit the check.
